So far in the the book, Pinmei and Yishan are going to the City of Bright Moonlight to get the dragon’s pearl.  On the way they meet Lady Meng and find out that she is going to go to the City of Bright Moonlight too. So, they all are going to travel together on this long and cold journey.

When The Sea Turned To Silver

Hi I have just stared reading the book When The Sea Turned To Silver.

It’s about this girl named Pinmei, and how she copes in ancient China. She also has a grandmother that she calls Amah, who knows a lot of stories that are like pourquoi tales. Yishan, is a boy who spends a lot of time with Pinmei and Amah. He lives up the mountain in a cottage overlooking the sea.

I can’t wait to read the rest of it! It sounds like a good book so far.
